Gautier Furniture Takes Consumer Experience to the Next Level with HomeByMe
Announcing the collaboration with French furniture brand and manufacturer Gautier.
Using HomeByMe Enterprise solutions for all stages of the consumer journey, Gautier will transform the furniture market by offering their customers innovative 3D shopping experiences.
Online and in-store, customers will benefit from engaging ways to bring their home projects to life in 3D, from inspiration to product personalization, including space planning.
The two companies signed the collaboration agreement at the Made in France tradeshow in Paris on November 10, 2022, in the presence of David Soulard, CEO of Gautier Furniture, Pascal Daloz, Deputy General Manager, Operations at Dassault Systèmes, Vincent Picou, General Manager of HomeByMe, and journalists from the furniture industry.
Adapting to consumer expectations with digital transformation and personalized experiences
As a family business, Gautier began manufacturing children’s furniture more than 60 years ago. Since then, the company has evolved, and the product range has expanded to every room in the home. Fifteen years ago, the manufacturer became both a brand and retailer with the creation of Gautier stores.
“Digital transformation was a natural move for the company because we wanted to be closer to consumers and become a B2C business on top of our B2B activity,” said David Soulard.
Gautier has chosen to strengthen its omnichannel offering so the relationship between consumers and their shopping experiences remains at the forefront of its strategy.
Omnichannel solutions to support a web-to-store strategy
Thanks to HomeByMe solutions comprising 3D space planning, product configuration, and high-definition images, Gautier can provide its customers with memorable experiences at every step of the buying journey.
Accessible on both the brand’s website and in stores, HomeByMe allows consumers to start their project online, at home on any device, thanks to a very intuitive interface. They can then finalize their project in-store with the help of a Gautier expert.
“Gautier’s strategy is focussed on web-to-store. As 90% of our customers visit our website before they visit our showrooms, we want to share and collect as much information as possible online so that they feel comfortable with the brand. When they come to the store, we want to make it as easy as possible for them to finalize their project with our store associates,” David Soulard explains.
“At Gautier, our store associates are not only salespeople. They are trained to become interior designers who enrich customers’ projects. HomeByMe enables them to perform their roles even better.”
A Virtual Twin of Customers’ Homes
Today, Gautier is the first brand to reinvent the relationship with consumers using HomeByMe’s complete set of solutions, including style configuration, product configuration, and 3D space planning.
“We are proud to collaborate with Gautier on their consumer-centric innovation strategy. HomeByMe solutions make Gautier a pioneer in interior design. By choosing to combine online 3D experiences with in-store expert advice, Gautier is the first furniture company providing an omnichannel 3D customer journey, offering consumers all the possibilities to imagine and personalize their future home, in 3D,” concludes Vincent Picou.
